Colgate-Palmolive operates in more than 220 markets worldwide. Over time its digital ecosystem became highly decentralized, with local teams independently creating and maintaining websites. This resulted in duplicated effort, inconsistent brand experiences, and increasing operational complexity across markets.

Global Web Platform Model
Decentralized digital ecosystem operating across 220+ global markets requiring centralization and operational scaling.
As Head of PMO at VML, I was responsible for ensuring a stable and appropriately senior PM team supporting the program. I helped build and maintain the PM structure responsible for delivery governance across markets, while also supporting the development of management tools, operational processes, and reporting frameworks that enabled effective coordination of global and local teams.
Working with cross-regional teams, we established a centralized platform architecture and governance model built around AEM. We introduced standardized workflows, shared digital assets, and reusable templates, allowing global content components to be reused across markets while preserving local adaptability.
The program operated within one of the largest AEM ecosystems globally, containing more than one million content items across more than 1,800 websites. During my time supporting the program's delivery governance, over 350 websites were implemented and more than 600 were managed through this model, contributing to improved scalability, brand consistency, and operational efficiency across markets.
