Enterprise Mobile App
Mobile ecosystem expansion for the world's largest equipment rental company within a Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework.
As Head of PMO, I supervised the Scrum Master responsible for the mobile team and supported delivery governance of the mobile workstream within the broader LeSS program. My focus was ensuring stable delivery processes and effective collaboration with backend teams.
I supported the Scrum Master in coordinating the team's delivery. A challenge arose from role overlap: the Scrum Master also acted as a proxy Product Owner, creating tension with the project technical leadership around prioritization and technical decisions. I facilitated discussions clarifying roles and decision boundaries, helping stabilize collaboration and maintain delivery momentum.
The mobile application became part of United Rentals' digital platform, enabling customers to track equipment, manage rentals, and handle invoices directly from jobsites. The project demonstrated effective collaboration across distributed teams within a LeSS environment, delivering a mobile product integrated with a complex enterprise ecosystem.
